There are more than 300 automated assembly machines in the factory dedicated to various types of terminals and connectors. These assembly machines have been developed by our automation team and they have been designed to boot up quickly, be simple to maintain, and yet be highly flexible in usage.
They are modularized and can easily be further integrated with other processes to run complex operations, including positioning, ordering, inserting, expanding, forming, rubberizing, heat-shrinking, printing, cutting, counting, packing, dimension inspection, and error checking, etc.

Automatic Storage Retrieval System (ASRS)

KST has 12 sets of large-scale automatic storage retrieval systems (AS/RS). This consists of an ERP-controlled system for automatically placing and retrieving loads from defined storage locations. AS/RS are typically used to facilitate and manage the following:

These systems facilitate many processes including raw material feed, production feed, mold management, all material returning to warehouses, finished products moving into inventory, as well as product pick and packaging are managed by the ERP system.
It can monitor and provide real-time quantities and lot numbers of inventory accurately. Moreover, it is used to leverage stamping, welding, assembling, packaging, and other manufacturing processes to improve the management efficiency of production, logistics, and eliminate redundant internal transportation.
These 12 large automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) store a wide range of materials including raw materials, molds, semi-finished products, and finished products. There are more than 34,000 inventory items, which are stored on pallets, turnover boxes, and toolbox-type bins for automatic storage management.

    Our efficient AS/RS system helps cut expenses by minimizing the number of unnecessary parts and products in storage and improving the organization of the contents of a warehouse. Due to automated processes, it also allows for more storage space due to high-density storage, narrower aisles, etc.
    Modeling and managing the logical representation of the physical storage facilities (e.g. racking, etc.). For example, if certain products are often sold together or are more popular than others, those products can be grouped together or placed near the delivery area to speed up the process of picking, packing, and shipping to customers.
